2.2 Froyo will be released soon, does any of you know if HTC will update desire firmware to 2.2?

HTC have announced it for the second half of the year. Obviously we expect it well before then for Rooted handsets :)

If anyone missed getting the Dolphin HD browser with inbuilt youTube download I think I have managed to get an apk for that build.

Hey Murray, glad to hear you got a copy. I didnt do the update because of that. Any idea if you can run two copies? Currently roaming in Hong Kong. The phone has been amazing, but I dont think I have my roaming MMS settings setup correctly as I cant send MMS. Otherwise all is great.

Yeah, thats why I haven't upgraded either...

Not sure about running two on the phone, don't want to try given I have the better build working fine on mine as it is!

Gidday - can you PM me a link please - I updated Dolphin HD browser and they took off the youtube downloader in latest release
