thewanderingv: So, ANZ launches its new GoMoney pay via phone feature, and the Nexus 5x is included but not the Nexus 6p in the list of "approved phones". Any reasons why that might be the case? I would have thought that they were pretty similar in their payments hardware.

Does anyone have any more insight/updates on this? A bit disappointing as I'm with ANZ and would be keen to give this a go.

I DM'd them on twitter and asked, as my partner also has a Z3 compact and that isnt on the list but yet the regular Z3 is!

basically they said they are adding devices to the list as they test them to "make sure they work perfectly"

I would guess that they have only tested whatever device they have tp hand in their office and basically haven't been bothered to even make sure the list makes sense!

I should add, one that is decent but without having to fork out $50? Or is there no alternative?

Not yet. I was going to ask the same question.

Well I am sad to say, I parted with my Nexus, for slightly more than I paid for it. I liked it, but without an IR blaster and a few other software annoyances, my S6 Edge keeps it's crown for now.

I miss the big screen but feel the Nexus didn't cope with the higher resolution the way the Samsungs do.

Anyone know what the next generation of processors are? I feel I could use more.

For a mains based one, I will pretty much only buy a Google one. There is so much difference in quality out there, I'd be a little apprehensive.

Got mine yesterday (Tuesday) morning. My old N5 that I've passed onto my wife received it mid last week.
