Damager: Hey guys,

If I triangle away, and then flash a stock rom. Will the flash counter be 0 or 1?? 9100T.

I used this on my i9100T when I first rooted it. No issues at all.

The problem though Brad is that after flashing the stock ROM, you''ll no longer have ROOT so will be unable to run Triangle Away to remove the triangle. So if it does come back after flashing the stock, Damager will have to use the jig to clear it.

The counter only increments if you flash a non-stock kernel using Odin. If you flash a stock kernel via Odin, or a non-stock kernel via some on-phone method (e.g. CWM), the counter will stay as-is.

Thanks chaps!

Yeps, was just wondering if after using the triangle away on a custom rom, then flashing a stock rom, does the counter stay at zero. and it does (after a stock rom)

Cheers!

Any of the local carriers started to distribute 4.0.4?

Has anyone had any joy with ICS version of Google Now? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224

I
have installed it on WanamLite ROM v12.3.  It works apart from it is not speaking the results of a search to me.  Well it has a couple of times but I am not sure why it stops.  I was thinking it may be something to do with regions as I only had it working when I changed the language to English (USA) on the standard Language and Input settings.  Something seems to stop it working even if I leave this set to USA.  Has anyone else tried this?

I just installed 4.0.4 through Vodafone this morning on my S2.

Samsung Social Hub that starts on boot crashes repeatedly and the email app stopped working.

There is no way to remove it.

Now waiting for suggestions.

Im running on Jelly Bean using RR ROM with CM10.
I must say it feels quick, but im running into some issues with the network signal being very erratic. This is affecting my battery life and causing wakelocks.
My modem is XXLPS. Has anyone had a better experience running something else in Auckland with vodafone or 2degrees?

You might need to clear out the data for the email and Social Hub applications. This will cause you to lose any mail accounts and any mail that exists only on the phone, but there's a fairly good chance it'll fix your problems.

You'll need to go into your phone's Settings > Applications > All, then find the Email application in the list. Tap on it, then hit Clear Data. Go back to the All screen and find the Social Hub entry, and repeat. Once this is done, you should be able to go back into the email app and set up your accounts again.

Just a heads up for those who haven't heard of the Dorimanx kernel yet:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1617219

Been using it for a month now, and I find it to be one of the most actively developed kernel for the S2! Dorimanx's tweaks are really nice, been getting the best battery life and performance out of it compared to all the kernels I've tried so far. Just take a look at that amazing changelog.. you'll be drooling all over the place!

Is your phone an i9100T by any chance??

Mine is... and it goes mental using "normal" modems, 3G keeps dropping in and out... end up on Edge!!?!... whenever I flash a ROM, I have to make sure I flash a T modem back on...

Currently using JJLP8 from this site so far so good... had previously been using DOLP4...

I'm on 2degrees...
