Called up HN and was told that he'll call me back but 1hour later still have no call.
On the phone with BrightPoint now. - NO ETA! Again! Waiting for Manufacturer to confirm the ETA...

Now i'm on hold when the CS trying to gathering information for me. Listening to some weird music..

Update:
BrightPoint CS: The ETA is the 20th and it is allocated to the stores. So you'll have to talk to them to find out. JB Hifi is getting it by the 20th.

Me: Why are not the retailers been told about this? Like NL?

BrightPoint CS: I'm not sue, you'll have to talk to them and they can contact us.

Me: Thank you. I'll ring NL up and let them know.

NL CS: Sorry we don't have any ETA on this but we are offering the 16GB SD card with the 16GB S3 to make it 32GB.

ME: Sorry but I already have a 64GB Micro SD Card.
NL CS: Oh...um... Our merchandise said we only have the 16GB allocated to us.
ME: BrightPoint told me that the stock will arrive on the 20th for allocated stores.
NL CS: Oh.. umm.. I will call them to find out.

NL CS: Unfortunately the stock is not allocated to us. It is between the supplier and the store.

ME: This is unacceptable. We made our preorders and we're hoping that you guys would get the stock in from the same shipment. Why did JB Hifi get a different treatment to you guys. On behalf of all of the preorders from your stores, I demand the answer.

NL CS: In this case I do not know i'm sorry. I can put you through your local store so you can discussing this with them. Please hold....

NL CS: We have 3 option for you.
             1. Get full refund
             2. Get a 16GB model
             3. Lay a formal complain
ME: If I want my refund I would of getting it since the 15th June when my ETA became No ETA. And if I want the 16GB Model then I would already have gotten one since the launch date. And I've been complaining for month and all I ever get was sorry there is nothing further we can do in this case. If you told me that get my refund back from the beginning then I would but this is like 1month and half later. If I put this money in the bank, I would at least get some interest back. But here I got nothing but waste of my time and money calling up the suppliers to find out for you guys.

ME: *Complaining on the phone...* Why is JB Hifi get different treatment from your supplier?

NL CS: I'm not sure about this part sorry. It is the best we can do.

ME: I wasted my time with Noel Leeming and all I wanted is my order to be firfilled. And can you not talk to the supplier to get an allocated stock for the preorderer or anything?

NL CS: Unfortunately I have to hang up this call. I gave you all the options and my recommendation is for you to go into the store and get your money back. We are going nowhere here and I don't think I can help you.

ME: Of cause it is going nowhere and I know that you guys can't help me. Because you guys can't even help yourself.

NL CS: toot tooot tooot!!! Disconnected.

I'm contacting JB hifi and make a preorder with them now. Hope to get in the queue with them as well as with NL. Then I'll get whoever get the phone first.

I think NL is doing a scam here. Because their Queen's birthday sale discount and now they are trying to delaying as much as possible to get those buyers to refund the money or change to 16GB models instead so that they won't lose too much money. But common! they didn't even put our orders through to BrightPoints for our 32GB.

I talked to the supplier and they have no idea about the 32GB orders made by NL. Seriously?

I just reserving my 32GB blue in JB hifi a minute ago. So now I have two boats to wait for. Whichever comes first, I will get on it.

Just made a call to HN and will do a preorder through them as well. The IT guy is really helpful and will follow up with BrighPoint to get an ETA for me then get back to me before he accepting my preorder.

Good on you Harvey Norman. Shame on your Noel Leeming.

Cool, what is the price at JB? Since I already paid my $ at NL I don't think they would give my $ back.. so I might just wait it out..

Good news. HN has some S3 32GB allocated to them in both colours.
And shipment is on its way to NZ roughly about 2 weeks maxed. So this fit in this month.
NL - no allocation for this shipment. ETA is unforeseen future.
JB - Same shipment as the HN.
P.I - has them in stock now.

You can leave your money with them and at the same time make some preorder withdifferent stores to secure your queue. And you can get full refund any time because you have not satisfied and yet to receive your order. But don't with draw just yet. Go make a few more preorders around like I did.

If you make lots of preorders, just make sure to be prompt about getting your money back from the other retailers once you get your first successful order! Otherwise you might get stuck with several phones...

@antaeusa: I don't think you'll find the 32GB at the same price as NL Queens Birthday sale price. Next cheapest I have seen is JB, $1044:

I'm back in the wait with you lot, pre-ordered again with JB. I was hoping they'd activate my old, cancelled order, so I wouldn't lose my spot near the front of the queue, but I was told I had to place a new order (fair enough). Fingers crossed this next shipment will have plenty of stock!

JB HiFi weren't too keen to make a Pre-Order but I have told them to take my name/details and they will call me? Well see.. how true that is. I'll also follow that up with HN about their pre-order process.

Well I have given up waiting as today I also did some ringing around and also talked with a friend who owns a HN store and he said do not wait as likely to be let down he said nothing is for sure. So off to 2Degrees tomorrow morn to get a 16gb (Have $1000 store vouchers to use) then will sell on TradeMe and use the money to go get my 32gb phone from a PI store who have stock arriving tomorrow/Friday and have on order with them. Screw the Telco's they can miss out on people signing plans cause they can not organise their way out of a paper bag, they have no idea what they are doing. Have to say the communication managers for these companies have been really quiet on it or they are all on holiday, but they do not seem to be doing their job in updating stores/staff on what is happening some of the worse service I have seen in years from companies. If the PI's around the country can get them I am sure the Telco's can, they just can't be bothered or don't want to stock so you have to use data.

Just leave your name and number with them for now. Hopefully they will call you and me. Keep an eye on their site of the 32GB model status. I'm going to see HN on Monday to sort out my preorder with them when the product manager arrived from her holiday.

Interesting.. HN are confident that it will be here by 27 July..I am going to wait it out till the end of this month and if it doesn't come by then, I'll go ahead and purchase a 16GB.
