Anyone else had their 6P freeze up on them yet? Happened to me today, was just browsing the web, stopped working, backlight remained on, but then dimmed down slightly. Stayed like that for 10 minutes so had to do a hard reboot (Power button + volume down for 10 seconds). Now its back and there are 8 app updates queued to install so perhaps that had something to do with it (all of the updates were Google app ones except Netflix which was in there as well). Strange

No problems here - lots of updates and a system update without any problems.

I think the only place that sells the 128GB version is via the Google Play Store (based on no results coming up on Price Spy) but keeping in mind that the Android on Nexus devices don't take up much space. I bought a 64GB and I was surprised at how much space was actually left after getting used to the bloat that so many OEM's ram into their phones for the sake of appearing to add 'value' to the customer experience.

I agree with this. I have 284 Apps (!!) installed including some big data hogs (Spotify, Calm, Audible) and I still have 35Gb of free space. The only way I can see myself running out of space any time soon is by storing a bunch of high definition videos. "AppMgr Pro III" disk storage analyser claims Android is only taking up 1.6Gb of space.

Realistically only the truly mad need the 128gb device, and even as a member of the truly mad I've only managed to use 16gb of the 111gb available on my device. If you really need more than 47gb storage, the 128gb off Google Play is your only option (but they're selling the gold one at the mo, which looks quite nice).

Both are great options, but I tend to agree with his final choice

I did. That's what prompted me to narrow it down to those two lol. I do love the Samsung camera, she is a beast and I snap A LOT of photos, plus I like being able to play with the settings. But man do I get sick of the Samsung lag. S6 has slowed down something chronic, plus the over zealous RAM management.

been loving the phone. Sadly I just noticed that the button side now has a bend in it. its not major and I will wait to see if it get worse before seeing about getting it replaced.

I did see on the 6p reddit that a google support team member has said that they are talking with huawei about the bending issue.

Man rooting this phone is a god dam nightmare. NOwhere near as easy at the Samsungs. The issues I've had and now got...wow. Camera app won't open. COntinually getting the corrupt device message on boot. And I still aren't even rooted.

What do you need root for? There's not a great deal of reasons left. Also which root stylebare you using? Systemless Root seems to be the way on Marshmallow.

Trying to unlock the bootloader first.

Want to try out some custom roms, plus restore some stuff from Titanium Backup

Can't get the AndroidSDK to open
