On the weekend I was at the Cold Kiwi motorcycle rally, good weather on the Saturday & Sunday (not the best when I arrived on the Friday).  I rode there with the Note 10+ handling GPS navigation (6.8" display is better than the 5.5" my S7 Edge had) and music (bluetooth to Cardo system in helmet).

I played around with the camera, taking some photos & videos - I was very impressed.  I got a nice slo-mo video of one of the bikes on the hill climb, impressive looking quality.  I also took some photos & videos with my Panasonic camera and realised that the Note 10+ takes better looking video thanks to the image stabilisation.  Really the only reason to use my Panasonic camera is to get the zoom level (60x zoom) that phones just can't match.  For anything that doesn't require big zoom the phone is more than good enough.  Low light - the phone takes better photos.

Also - today I got an e-mail, my trade-in has been accepted and I will soon be seeing $280 for my S7Edge appearing in my bank account.

Does anyone want to sell the wireless power bank that pb tech bundled with the note 10? A related question is can anyone confirm if the Galaxy watch will charge from the bundled wireless powerbank?

Where did you get that trade-in value from? Did you have to have bought the phone from a particular place?

I just needed to provide details to Samsung (IMEI number of new Note 10+, Where I purchased (PB Tech), etc)  and send the old phone to the address provided.  The S7 Edge was worth $130 + a bonus $150 for the $280 total.  They only wanted the phone, not the charger or any accessories.

I'm quite keen to buy that Momax charger.  I've got the previous generation one, it's been great.  But I'd like to get the faster charging version.  Seems they're holding off selling it separately and only including it in bundles at the moment.

I was going to sell mine, but I am now having second thoughts about that as my older Anker 20,000 MAH ones don't do PD and seem to charge my new devices painfully slowly.

I am keen on one of the Momax chargers if I can confirm it will charge my Galaxy watch.  The watch seems to have a weird version of wireless charging where it doesn't work on most chargers except the one it comes with and the samsung dual charger that was released with the note 9.  The earlier samsung ones doesn't seem to work for some reason.

I know the samsung wireless charging powerbank will charge the watch but they don't seem to be available in NZ and you can't ship batteries internationally.

If people are looking for a decent fast charger than the Mi ones that PB tech sell have been great.

Hi All,

Love my Note 10+

I'm having to use an Apple 3.5mm to USB C adapter for my phone in the car but have noticed that the volume output is a lot lower than other devices like my iPod or my old Note 4.

Anyone else having this issue? Could it be the adapter sucking some of the sound?

Cheers!

Unfortunately I noticed a small chip on the corner of my Whitestone Dome on Friday.  It was pretty rough, very small though, but it was going to shatter eventually so I removed it.  Bummer, but I guess since I don't know how it happened, there's every chance it did it's job and protected the actual display.

Don't think I'll be spending another $100 on a replacement.  Other options seem limited on PB's website though.

Phew! I was trying to decide whether I'd buy that!
