I think he is referring to what is stated on the Sony NZ website

"All Sony Xperia™ smartphones come with a 2-year warranty."

I'm looking at getting one of these

Is there any need/benefit to pre-ordering?

Great phone but just one of numerous Android options

Free smartwatch if you pre order in store with Sony.

Very nice :) how are you finding it? I'm still having tough time deciding on the Compact of full sized Z3, but my pockets say Compact is the way to go haha...

Just going to jump in here and put in my 2c. Coming from the nexus 5 I thought it would be easy, going back to an approximately nexus 4 size. It certainly feels small, funny at 4.6" to think a phone is small. But I've certainly gotten used to it over the last couple of weeks. Pocket ability is great, albeit slippery.

Nice colour choice I'd say! Not as bright red as I expected, attracts a bit of attention, and questioning as to whether it's a case or the actual phone.

Sounds like the Z3 Compact is the way to go then. I'm also used to the slightly bigger screens and wasn't too sure if I could go back. I just find the standard Z3 size too be borderline too big. Do you use it for media too, doesn't feel too small? (you're right it's funny to think 4.6" is small now)

It feels small, but I compared with my older nexus 4 today and it's pretty close. The camera and battery best the nexus 5 it replaced which were nice, and the nexus 6 is at 5.9 was a too Much of a stretch. Use mine in the dock to watch media via plex. Screen size and quality are fine, front facing stereo speakers are great although not HTC level, but much better than rear or side speakers of previous phones I've used.

How about a description or a photo?

I only saw a smart band on their website. It's a fit bit with extra features

Free smartwatch for pre-order sounds good. Is there a special link to it? I can only see free 64GB SD Card on sony website.
