Download "Barcode Reader" from the market then use it to scan this:

This will lead you in the right place to install LauncherPro.

Privoxy: none of that works, have tried all before posting

If you have selected another Home app (like ADW.Launcher or Open Home - whatever) as the default, you need to go to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications and locate the current default Home app in the list and go into it.

You'll see a "Clear Defaults" button down the bottom on the right. Scroll down if you need to. Touch that...and then press the Home button. You'll be asked which of all the potential Home replacements you may have installed you want to invoke this time. If you always want the same one to run when you touch Home...the tick the 'default' box, then choose the app you want.

Each time you update or install a new Home app you should be prompted again to choose your Home app and select a default (if you want to).

I haven't used Home Switcher, but it probably just makes that process easier. I don't do it that often, so don't think I need an app to do that. :-)

I did a PayPal purchase and got the Pro code almost immediately.

I've downloaded Launcher Pro.  Still getting to grips with it.

On the shortcut list (the bottom icons) the Contact button doesn't function.  I get the following message: "Could not launch the requested activity"

If I click the icon for my contacts (the original icon that came with the standard install) I can get to my contacts.

To the best of my knowledge I haven't fiddled with the shortcut list icons.

I presume this problem isn't common, no one else has mentioned it.  Does anyone know how I can fix it so that it opens my list of contacts?

Thanks

Is there any way to make sure tw launcher isn't running in the background when you use launcher pro as default?

Uninstall it?

Or is that one that's embedded in the system area?

You on a Galaxy S?

Use Android System Info or similar task manager. I don't think I've ever seen twlauncher running on mine  after a reboot unless I've switched to/from it. SGS.

Anyone else had instability with the latest Launcher Pro update? (Yesterday, IIRC).

My Launcher Pro started crashing this morning....which is new and unusual. So I ditched it and went back the ADW.Launcher.  At least until another LP update comes through.

Stability returned.

My N1 has been playing quite a bit this week.

Cant remember when I did the Launcher Pro upgrade, but some texts arent being sent (some for up to three days), screen responsiveness is sometimes poor (it seems to get stuck and just vibrates when I touch any part of the screen) and the odd app has crashed back to the home screen.

Ive just got it looking and behaving how I wanted it too :(
