Kopkiwi:

Samsung are having a laugh with the Active 2 prices surely? $300 in US, $700 here? More the dam Apple watch. It's like they don't want to actually sell any.

$650 at H.Norman and you get a bonus Samsung Duo charger...fwiw

I'll also be looking at picking up an Active (1?) for myself and the HBIC next round of specials at PBTech or other...

Yes saw that, madness.  Went and got a fitbit versa 2 (as it has fitpay pay with asb and alexa) after seeing the active 2 cost.

Has anyone noticed how weird other phones are?  What's with them bezels?  And the power button is on the wrong side!

I've been using the S-Pen more and more, it is definitely a feature that I find worth having. I can pull the S-Pen, scribble a quick note and then pop the pen back in - very much quicker than typing and saving a note.  I'm now making notes with the pen multiple times every day, very handy at work.

Hey folks, a bit late to the party. Debating if I should purchase the Samsung Note 10, not the Note 10+, just the note. I see Noel Leeming has it right now for $1200 and I'm very tempted, surely it's worth it at that price? I note the Samsung Galaxy S10 is the same price, with half the storage though.

I'd be upgrading from OnePlus 3T, so a decent upgrade, but looking for some advice/info about it.

Thanks!

Noel Leeming also has the Note 10+ on sale ($200 dearer for the 256GB version).

Personally, I'd go with the Note 10+ for the extra you get.  Same storage, but 12GB RAM instead of 8GB.  Bigger screen.  Higher Res screen. Bigger battery.  ToF sensor. MicroSD slot - maybe you will never need that, but who knows what your needs will be in a couple of years.

I do like the S-Pen and use it daily.  I really like the Note 10+ with the fantastic screen.  If you don't want as big a phone or to pay $200 more then the Note 10 is worth considering, but I think the Note 10+ does offer enough more to be worth the extra $200.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah for me it's about the screen size mainly, just too big! I also wouldn't "need" the extra storage, currently on 64GB which is enough for me, so double that and that's plenty. I think I'll for Boxing Day and see what happens... Have been watching a few videos though and the Note 10 Vs S10. Pretty close.

I think that if you are going to wait that long, then you may as well wait another 2-3 months until the S11 gets announced / released and see how much you like that.

You may find that ticks more "reason-to-upgrade" boxes than the Note

This is my first device with a screen protector, and it has more scratches on it, than any device I've ever owned before. I feel I have been very careful with it, and still it's smashed up, is that normal?

Also, I noticed today, that the side is coming loose unfortunately. I imagine there is no chance they will replace the protector under warranty, and if that's the case, is there an easy to replace but very good protector people are recommending now?

So if the Dome gets "damaged, is it removable?

Isn't that the one that is like hot glue? A liquid that hardens?
