NikT: Before anyone asks, Lollipop has not been received for testing on this end just yet. :)

Thanks, and also for others if they haven't read it, I also understand that the Note 4 Lollipop update will be slower because the Note 4 kernel also powers the Samsung Gear VR (by Oculus Rift)... and they need to sign off on the update as well, which is a delay other Samsung models won't face.

So I'm looking at purchasing a note 4.....Do current owners still love it?  I've heard its the best big phone and I'm after something with an awesome camera.  MKBHD gave it good wraps in the smartphone awards, but im just a little wary of Touchwiz.  I had an S3, but then went to a Nexus, so thats my only real concern....

Would be keen to hear peoples thoughts.

I had a glass protector from Noel Leeming (can't remember brand) and it was really nice (feel and clarity) but did not seal around the edges. There was no rough edge feeling at all, but there was an opaque few mm all the way round the screen. I dropped my Note recently (landed face down) and the glass broke but not the screen so I have since discarded it and returned to a standard protector. Would be interested in any recommendations for glass brands that do seal right to the edges (I assume the curved Note screen is a challenge).

I tried one on my note 4 and got crap accumulating in the little gap starting to lift it off. The ones I have seen that dont do that are vastly smaller than the screen and only go slightly past the actual oled display and look a bit dicky.

I run an iLoome protector on my Note 3, it's an awesome protector, it only ever seperates (and only in the corners) if I leave the phone screen up in direct sunlight.

I also run a UAG cover around the phone as well and that protects any dust / dirt getting under the protector.

Excellent instructions for installation, was quite easy.

The note 3 has flat glass. The 4 has a curve away at the edge like the aweful HTC one X did. Makes screenprotectors impossible.

Have Vodafone received the update yet? Or are Samsung ensuring I don't buy another product in the future?
