tallmaninthecnr: Another question with a simple solution I hope, is there a way to view the files on the external SD card from the phone, rather than attaching it to my laptop. When I look at My Files I only appear to be able to see those on-board.

thanks for your patience (can see an easy answer using google)

Download Astro from the Android market and you can view files on SD.

Yup - you'll find Root Explorer is another (paid) app that a lot of people will recommend.

Thanks for the helpful responses, it sometimes seems the easiest questions are the ones that can be hardest to find answers to sifting thru the millions of hits - so I have another one.

Used Google search to find the NZ Herald site, selected and opened, added as a bookmark. Later opened the browser but when I open the menu using the soft key on the lower left there does not seem to be an option to view 'saved' bookmarks?

Pretty embarrassed asking such simple questions but the manual does not seem to be a lot of help.

Neets: SIP is working on  GB according to tests in the #romkitchen.  Perka confirmed Xiff has it working and provided this additional URL.

Thanks, that is good news.
I assume thats in the source rather than hidden somewhere in JVK/JVB etc.
Good thing I'm a custom rom fan.

I can see the files on my external sd card using the My Files app. You just go to the folder external_sd that should be right at the bottom.

The way to access bookmarks you have saved is to click the little icon to the right of the address bar. If you do it while loading it will cancel the loading of the page, otherwise will open Bookmarks, Most visited & History page.

Thanks mate seems obvious not, and I assume I can delete them from there as well.  Think I will look at a new browser while I am at it.

Thanks yes found that this morning just not looking close enough, will investigate what I can do with them such as moving etc.  I am sure a lot of my problems are just not being aware of what I am looking at.

Does it have a sharpness/colour fix?

Nope, the one thing it's missing! It's early days though

Yeah still early days, you noticing any problems with JVB?
Only thing I noticed was maps using a lot of GPS and Beautiful Widgets constantly accessing it.  Factory reset seems to have fixed it and an update for Beautiful Widgets came out yesterday.

Don't seem to be experiencing the scrolling issue in Opera or standard browser that others have experienced though
