timmmay: That's a crazy deal. I paid $730 for mine from JB a few months back without the keyboard... just before all the one day sites started selling them for $500 or so.

Just checked again now and no sign of your .19 wonder why there is a difference in such a short time

snowfly: I have been holding out to get the new Transformer Prime, but I was bitterly disappointed to find out there won't be a 3g version. :(
Might have to source a 1st gen 3g Transformer (TF101G) from taiwan via ebay.
For me 3g is essential, and willing to pay for it, so not sure why asus isn't offering this in the new prime.
Yes I know you can tether a phone to the transformer, and use data via your phone, but I would much prefer to just run 1 device at a time.

Agreed - the option of 3g would be nice but I'll get one anyway and tether to my S2 in need. I have been waiting (not very patiently) for the Prime to be released. I wonder if Maurice plans to organise another deal thru Amazon as he did with the Kindle. I see Amazon was taking pre-orders but the advert got pulled.
I'll be getting mine from overseas but not sure where from yet
