mwilcox: Zzz customs still haven't processed GST, won't get it til mid next week now probably

the sooner the Govt reforms the GST on imported goods and Customs stuff the better

Often these things sit in the Customs bonded warehouse in Auckland longer than it takes for it to travel across the US and then to NZ

I don't understand why a payment button doesn't just show up in the tracking page honestly. They need to automate it & require it on every package, handling & storage is stupidly expensive

How long did yours take from being sent to arriving in Auckland? Mine has a Shipped 11/11/13 but still not arrived in Auckland! This waiting is getting annoying!

1 At warehouse 01.00 PM on 06/11/13
2 Paid 03.38 PM on 07/11/13
3 Shipped 07.47 PM on 08/11/13
4 Arrived in New Zealand 12.55 PM on 13/11/13
5 Held for clearance 12.57 PM on 13/11/13

To all those who have got their nexus5, how is the battery life? Tossing between G2 and nexus 5. G2 scores more in the battery department.

From all the posts around xda, reddit etc.. stock battery life looks around 4 hours screen on, maybe less maybe more depending on lte vs wifi etc.. but custom kernels e.g. faux kernel have given some pretty great bumps, ive seen ~4hrs screen on with 49% left with custom kernel

So saying "OK Google" on the home screen does ... nothing? That cant be right.

Language has to be set to US English.

Try setting the voice recognition language to US English, I think I saw somewhere that it only works if it's set as that

Hi guys,
Small problem. Picked up my N5 just now from

Problem is I don't have HDR+ option. Really stumped with this. Anyone else have this problem? I have the kit kat camera app on my nexus 4 and it's just not there on my N5 can't understand it.

Otherwise it's great!

Cheers for that! I was a bit concerned about the underpowered 2300mAh battery. So with custom rom and a bit of toggling, battery life can be extended. Hopefully more N5 users can share their experiences around battery performance.

Thanks :)

For everyone complaining about the price;
it cost NZ $670 to import a 32 GB phone. So the $699 price isn't that bad for the 16GB

Hit the button above the blue shutter button and it's the first option on the right.

I charged to full overnight. I am 83% after 5h55m, screen on is 30 minutes. This would be a typical use case for me when at work. So looks to be an improvement over my HTC Sensation. But really too early to say.

The G2 will have better battery life so if that is important to you, go down that road.
