I have a relative looking to get one of these, and she's looking at a couple of places to buy.

Does anyone know what the story is with the power cord if you buy via Amazon? Do they ship an NZ plug or do you have to buy and carry around a power adapter?

I bought mine from Amazon.  It comes with an American plug. I use an adaptor.

Good to know, thanks!

Looks like Harvey Norman have it dirt cheap though.

It seems despite having been hear 4 years I'm not allowed to post links, but if you search for the 32 gig version on the harvey norman website it's $661 including the keyboard, which seems like an unreal bargin to me.

Looks a great deal, but not at the NZ HN site. That $661 price appears to be the Aussie HN site only.

Ph tech have New Zealand plugs to go on the US adapter. It shortens the plug up a bit and makes it less susceptible to slipping out of the US to NZ adapter. That's what I did with my US plug.

Hi there, I know I should have probably read through the whoe whole thread, but can anyone tell me why my Transformer goes into a reset loop when trying to connect to wifi?

This has happened several times already, nothing I do seems to fix it except a factory wipe, I can get months without the problem, and yesterday it happened, I reset it, and now it's a problem again.

I'm getting fed up with it to be honest, in the short time I've taken to type this, it has reset twice. (3x now)

If I turn wifi off, it's not a problem.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like a faulty unit to me, I've never heard about that before. Maybe this thread has something related?

Hey Klyster,

I have recently come across this problem. I have had my Transformer for yonks and have never had an issue. However, I went down to my parents place recently and used their wireless. I got an endless bootloop. After some cursing and swearing I did a factory reset and all was good. However, the next day, more boot loops. I traced it to the wifi and in particular something to do with my parents wifi access point.

I fixed it by connecting to a different wifi access point (no factory reset this time). I then reconnected to my folks wifi access point and "Hey presto", no more boot loops. I would suggest it is something to do with different wifi access points. I seems to be intermittent. After connecting to a different wifi access point and then back to the original it seems to sort the issue for a while.

Maybe try changing the Access Point name, security type, security code or all three and see how you go. My folks have a dynalink RTA1025W

Good luck.

Cheers, Matt.

I have a samsung galaxy tab10.1 and a dynalink 1025w. When the dynalink loses power then starts I can't connect from the tablet. The tablet restarts itself whenever trying to connect to wireless. The cure is to restart the router after the tablet reboot . This happens on honeycomb and ics. Obviously an issue with the tablet software but must be unique to dynalinks in some way

Thanks for the reply guys, I have a dynalink RTA1025WE too (telstra), so if this persists, I'll try connecting via hotspot on GSII, and if I still have grief, I'll replace the router.

I'm glad it sounds like a router issue as I love my tablet and don't want to get another. Thanks to all.

Nik.

ICS update is out - just installed on my apparently TW SKU'd unit (could have sworn it was WWE prior to the update, but maybe I'm mistaken).

UI is significantly smoother - very obvious in the app tray and other transitions.   Lots of other improvements - well worth the wait.

Kevin, did you get it OTA or download it from somewhere?
