Just installed a new browser, ICS browser +.
When selecting this app as a lock screen shortcut, it appears in the settings as one of my four shortcuts, but once locked, it reverts back to stock browser.

Any one else had this happen?

I subscribe to mulitple calendars within my gmail account. When i want to edit an event, and sometimes I want to change the calendar I had originally selected for the event, I would normally go into the phone cal app and edit the event details, and when i did I could change the select cal originally selected for another, say from TBC (to be confirmed) to (Confirmed event)...

I can't seem to do it in the S3 when I could in the HTC One X

What's the story? Same gmail setup, just switched phones

own3d: banging my head against the wall.. how do I get the stock ICS dialer running on this SGSIII?

http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/11/29/getting-to-know-android-4-0-part-6-the-phone-app-gets-lots-of-love/

If this is too hard, I have another option, but its another can of worms (relating to custom ROM then re-adding Samsung apps that make SGSIII run better)

I may have solved the Fast Dormancy issues when running a VF/2degrees handset on Telecom. Will be attempting to write a guide soon.

Any other issues using the Telecom version on 2deg or Vodafone? Be interesting to see signal strength for example when side by side with a Vodafone or 2Deg branded unit.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Signal strength is not a problem if you flash the Telecom/VodafoneAU modem DULE6

I got a new memory card to boost the storage on my SIII. What is the best way to set it up so the phone can use the storage? What is the default?

That's pretty awesome. Definitely gonna have to try it out. What ROM are you running? I'm still on the stock Vodafone rom right now. Bit worried about trying to flash a custom ROM onto my phone and bricking it.

2 strange behaviors that I picked up on 3x S3's (NZ VF)

(Assuming) you are using the default font, go to Settings > Display > Select Font > Rosemary >SET

Exit out completely, bring up Samsung keypad, the font on keys also changes.

Now reverse the process Settings > Display > Select Font > Default font > SET

Exit from settings completely, bringup the Samsung keyboard again (Messages, Google search) notice the fonts are default but "thinner / skinnier" than before.

Reboot device and check again, its back to normal font!

Also, dark background wallpapers on the lock screen have 3-4 white patches on the right hand side, if you set the same as home screen wallpaper, there are none. Make sure you set full brightness to reproduce this.

Note, the actual wallpaper is perfectly fine, its only when set as lock screen ONLY!

Yes I have noticed that my lock screen wallpaper is slightly smaller than the home screen, I use the same image for both, yet on lock screen it has a slight black boarder around it. small things like that bug me.

Thats another issue actually, wait let me put up some screenshots to better explain the white spots issue...

Can you also check the fonts thing and see if you can reproduce it too?

I was able to reproduce the font issue, but not the wallpaper issue you are having. Tried it with just a completely black background and brightness set to full but didn't get white spots.
