nzrocketman: have you got the latest firmware.  has it improved the camera a lot.

there were issues with the camera to start with.  Some people are reporting the .513 firmware has fixed it a lot.

I've been reading this website http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=206135&start=2805  lots of info there

No I haven't updated to the latest version yet, I could flash the latest one but just waiting to see how long it takes to arrive formally on my phone.

No real rush to update really, it's a really smooth phone as is, the battery life is excellent.

I'm liking the screen alot, it's more brighter and the colours look more vibrant than the xperia z, of course there are concerns about the viewing angles, but I never pay attention to that anyway, I look at my phone front on, I don't care what it looks like from the side or any other angle, lol

Rightly so I think the screen is fantastic, bright vivid and I never look at it from funny angles anyway!

It looks like the price for Xperia Z1 (telecom version) is $999!

How much in total you end up paying to import from Clove?

I paid a total of 1200, that includes around $40 from the bank for foreign conversion fees

Good price, considering you are getting 110 quid voucher and free smartwatch 2!

It shows $967 in my bank statement. That's including shipping cost, smartwatch and £110 content offer. However I don't think the £110 content is redeemable in NZ -- it's only available in some countries. Hopefully I won't be pinged by the custom too!
I would get it in NZ if I knew the price is $999.

yeah the content offer is useless over here as we cant redeem anything off it, just like the playstation mobile app, that doesnt work here aswell

we do get to try music unlimited free for 60 days, but thats not something that interests me

It's a good price. Are you going to get it?

Go for white if you do...

Yeah I'm keen on giving it a go. Be interesting to see if it's useful or just a gimmick

They sent it on a Friday (their Friday) and I got it on the following Wednesday. Could have been Tuesday, but the couriers stuffed around.

I might work out how to put the uk version on it bcos I think new Zealand will be slow at getting all the firmware updates.

There 4 out atm. with the one you imported have you got the updates yet
