michaelmurfy: I've never wanted a phone this badly. I feel like an Apple Fanboy right now and I've never had this feeling before.
It is scaring me. Now I see why people go mad at those Apple events.
Honestly, help me, I need it and you need one too, take this URL and bump me up in the queue and I'll be forever grateful.

Bah, just use python and bump yourself up the list. Saw this a couple of days ago!

Python bot that signs using either disposable email or some gmail tricks to send out a bunch of emails and then automatically respond to them.
Even if you don't use it, it is a pretty funny read.

Who's going to take the risk though? He did it, talked about it, and they gave him a Two...but now that that's been done, anyone else who gets caught will be booted off the list.

I see PBTech have the OnePus 2 for $848.70.  Rather expensive I think.

OnePlus 2

Yeah far too expensive, the point of this phone was to not be as expensive as the rest, I'm looking at the Huawei Nexus 2015 now, this was a disappointment.

I hear what you're saying, but it's a bit of a leap to say you'll pick a phone that hasn't even been announced yet though isn't it?

Also, of the two rumoured Nexus phones this year, the Huawei one is the bigger, adds you remember how much the last big Nexus phone cost, don't you? Might make this early NZ pricing for the OP2 look cheap...

I'm considering it given the rumours so far, I didn't say I was going to buy it, I'm expecting it to be around the $1000 mark, so about $150 more than the One Plus Two, but given the supposed features it will be worth it. I have the One Plus One, there is just no incentive for me to get the One Plus Two.

Time will tell, at least by the time is comes out which his expected to be in October the One Plus Two's price would have cooled down...hopefully.

I've just gotten an invite via email, it says however that it is only valid for my email address so I would assume I can not give it to one of you?

You can but you would have to give the account details, eg password and email.

Is the OnePlus 2 a bust in NZ? I came to this forum to discuss it, but this is the only thread I've found.

Would not say that but with how the NZ dollar bottom out there are a number of phones at the same price point as the OPT now.
