Well, that's not sounding too promising.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

networkn: We have had the phone overheat 3 times. I wouldn't buy this phone again.

I wonder if the Snapdragon version has the same issues, if not guess we can mark that up as another Exynos blunder.

It seems to only when they are in cases. My wife's on is slower than her old 4 year old phone as well.

I haven't had overheating issues unless it was on my car mount on the dash.

Which is still abnormal. I have used car mounts for more than 20 years. Never had a single overheat.

Not really, it happened with my S9+. Moving the mount to the air vent seemed to help.

At this risk of hijacking the thread, I'm looking for a phone for my partner, budget $600-$900 ish, hence jumping into this FE thread. For a non power user, is this phone that laggy? She's using an old Huawei Nova 2, so I thought anything would be an upgrade. I nearly bought the Nokia 9 Pureview, but have been put off by some reviews that suggest the camera is extremely laggy.

This appears to be quite a crowded market segment, and I suspect I'm overthinking it a lot. I've lost track a wee bit with Android, I've had Samsung S4-8, a few Notes, Nokias and most recently LG's G series (4 and 7) and seeing LG don't appear to be bringing any phones anymore I've kind of lost my go to!

I am looking to get the S20 FE through a parallel importer to grab the Snapdragon CPU which apparently is much superior than the Exynos CPUs you get here, and less prone to overheating.

I believe the model number for the Snapdragon is G7810.

Hi, whats the latest android and One UI version available in NZ? I have Android 10 and One UI 2.5 and Samsung tells me that Android 11 has been released in NZ and to contact Vodafone. Vodafone says that its a Samsung issue because its their phone. Just need to know if I have the latest version available in NZ. Noticed that someone has an update on this post.

If you check the members app it should say the estimated date for the One UI 3 update for your phone.
However with my experience, NZ model phones get the update extremely late (6 months for my old S9+ when I was waiting for the One UI 2 update) as opposed to international versions of phones.

Yes, Snapdragon S20 FE 4G is available at NZ retail now as a running change - for those on the hunt for the new model FE, SM-G780F = Exynos 990, SM-G780G = Snapdragon 865.

Hey guys, just wondering what the limit is on the number of fingerprints being registered? Trying to sus out my wife's new s20fe and looks like it's 3? Seems low to me? Just wanted to confirm that's the case with someone else that has one (I've got 3 on my s21 and can add more, whereas she's got 3 and the + button doesn't show)
