martyyn: My N1 has been playing quite a bit this week.

Cant remember when I did the Launcher Pro upgrade, but some texts arent being sent (some for up to three days), screen responsiveness is sometimes poor (it seems to get stuck and just vibrates when I touch any part of the screen) and the odd app has crashed back to the home screen.

Ive just got it looking and behaving how I wanted it too :(

What system's on your phone? Stock or custom?

I've not had any txt issues. They all come and go just fine. I use Handcent SMS.

Are you low on internal storage? I find if I let the phone get lower than 40MB of free space, the odd app that uses the internal storage as temporary write space (as the default browser does) can have problems if it runs out space. Apps to SD sorts that out to a large extent. (stock Android v2.2 or a custom ROM).

Im completely stock as far as ROM's go, I dont have the spare time to start playing with that yet :)

The text problem has just started this week. JohnR was a great help in confirming it was a handset issue as they werent appearing on the network at all.

Ill check the internal memory and give apps2sd a go and see if that helps.

[edit] just installed app to sd and moved everything it said I could and I still only have 41Mb free.

Where are you getting the updates from?  My Kies doesn't have any updates.  Are they official updates, or leaked?  I'm still on Eclair DTJG3.

How do you know if there's an update and how do you know if your phone automatically updated?

goto market, click on installed apps, it lists any potential updates available.
