The ZL looks a pretty sweet alternative.
Ps. What LTE bands is the Z supporting? 1800?

Hey guys I was lucky enough to win one of these from a competition. Would anyone be interested in buying it for $750? Its a brand new Vodafone version which is still yet to arrive in the mail and so will be unopened.
This is the first time I have won anything decent and am trying to resist just keeping it for myself rendering my htc I bought at Christmas a waste haha. I live in hunua (by papakura) and frequent Auckland University for pickup.

Best bet would be to post this in offers and wanted. Posting in a thread of purple who already own the phone limits your chances

Okay so i just flashed the New update for the Sony Xperia Z and ill fill you in on some obvious changes and impressions:

#Nav bar is no longer grey its black

#Screen contrast seems a bit more vibrant, the colors of the boot animation seemed to pop more.

#Yes root seems to be gone, I am currently working on a few of my own methods but will wait for the official  root method.

#The mini apps in the multi-tasking menu changed, now they are a ugly neon style (why??)

#A bunch of crap ware was installed with this FTF but that may be FTF specific, but their was an audio recorder app which seemed to be  not social ware, but intended by Sony.

#NFC has recieved an upgrade and despite this version of FTF having issues with some variatns of the Sony Z by NFC works and is a bit more responsive than before (could be pseudo)

#No reported new keyboard skin

#responsiveness seems to have improved but that may jsut be down to the fresh install i carried out.

#I was hoping for the walkman app to be upgraded to gapless but It has not and until it does I will remain with the play music app.

#Camera still takes a million years to load up but the image quality seems to have improved as well as focus.

And with the rest time will tell.

Which FTF file did you use?
I hope you used the "Global-LTE" file from "xperiax10.awesome"

Unfortunately it looks like the battery will be draining faster with the new screen adjustments. Time will tell.

That Global-LTE is the ONLY one available its for the C6603, yea time will tell because power management has been improved so it may help.
