gksjohn:

I’ve just checked mine now, snapdragon model and I can only have 3 as well.

Thanks for checking. Gah, how dumb. I suppose the work around would be to put multiple fingers per 'fingerprint'.  Not ideal, but what else can you do!

So I need to replace my phone and the s20fe looks the way to go but does the sm-780g with the snapdragon support volte on nz networks particularly with vodafone as I work in areas that are often only covered with RCG 4g only cellsites. Not sure if volte support is still an issue with the network having to support the phone with their own software tweaks.

Also is the sm-780g snapdragon version an offical nz release? Not a parallel import that some stores are selling?
Its odd but nice to see many places selling snapdragon powered Samsungs.

Yes it's been ligitimately brought into NZ which means it's been checked and certified across networks.

Hold fire if you can.

There's rumours the S21 FE is launching on the 9th of September.

Anyone with the 4G Exynos model had the September security update yet?

Good price at PB Tech at the moment, I think the time has come to buy.

And it's even the new Snapdragon-based one!

I'm thinking to change my current S8 to either S20fe or A52S 5G. Camera is the most important thing for me. Which one do you guys think is better? Hopefully I'll see some reasonable improvement from S8.

From my view it seems the FE is far superior in picture quality if you want them to look natural then add filters etc after.

The 52s is over processed but does have better video at night.

Thanks for the link. It looks like it's comparing 20FE and A52 - Is A52S a decent improvement over A52..?
Haven't seen any reviews comparing 20FE and A52S yet

Have S20FE users received the December security update? My handset is still on 1 November patch.
I am on Spark.

I wonder if it's held up with the delays with OneUI 4 and android 12?
