I just installed the latest "system settings update" that was offered today. No idea what that actually is, as the Android security patch level is still dated 1 August 2019.

Huawei now releases monthly Android security patches for their premium phones, including the P30. Are the local carriers causing a delay here? There's a note on the Huawei website that certain carriers may only release the Android security patches on a quarterly basis.

Got my P30 Pro back from Huawei yesterday and can confirm that Google Pay is working again. Probably related to the Mate 20/Mate 20 Pro problems people started reporting here on Geekzone with last week's update.

Mine is running 9.1.0.193 now.

I don't know about everyone else but I was in Auckland city over the weekend and seems like my p30 pro doesn't do volte all of a sudden. My p30 pro was nz new from vodafone and their website listed it along with the p20 for volte capability after an update which came and the option was available in the menu but all reference to that has now been removed by vodafone on their website all of a sudden and the phone don't do voice over lte. Interesting how we have different upgrade statuses in the same country. presumably depends on release by cell phone provider??
