I for some reason still have not received any updates on my moto g which is still on 4.4.4. It is a Moto G LTE 8GB 2013 which I thought was being upgraded to 5.0.1?

Have finally received the Lollipop 5.1 notification update to my MotoG 4g lte. Has any one had issues that might change my mind on whether to download or not?

Thanks

No, I've been part of the soak test for a week or so prior to the OTA release and it's great, mines an XT1039 from 2Degrees

Does anyone know of a flip case for the fist gen Moto G that meets the following criteria:

- Has at least one card slot.
- Has hole for front ear speaker.
- NO MAGNETS!

As an example, this one would be acceptable if it had a card slot: http://www.trademe.co.nz/mobile-phones/accessories/cases-covers/motorola/auction-934717379.htm

Downloading 5.1 update as I type. Moto G First Gen still going strong. I wonder if 6.0 will be available later on? If so, I might just have to stick with Moto with its great support on updates.

Anyone else on the 1st Gen LTE model with 5.1 with Bluetooth issues?

Old devices I paired before the upgrade bring up the voice dialer when I single click on my bluetooth device, but new devices don't bring up the dialer unless I double click which redials last number.

So has anyone one else hit this issue and come up with a solution to make voice dialing from hands free work again.

I gave my 1st gen LTE to my father, which he loves it but it's been causing him some issues so I'm heading to see him to grab the pone as he has  a new one. Will get to have a look at it.
