They are $1100-1150 everywhere dude

I, like a few others, were just lucky in that we managed to get Noel Leemings to honour their 20% off sale

There are a multitude of reviews out there all saying the HTC One is a better buy if how it feels matters to you, and the S4 has very slight lag too.

Stevereds: It may have already been answered but here goes....if I buy the Vodafone HTC One can I pop my Telecom simcard into it and have it work properly?

I am only thinking of this because I may be going overseas sometime this year and it would be nice to have 4G possible if I ever bump into it. I am on Telecom because of local reception issues with Vodafone.

Yes. Telecom version gets 4G enabled in Oct.

Just wait, they will set a date, it will be delayed a day or two and there will be an outcry about the terrible marketing and how 6 figure salaried management should be held to account, preferably by being burned at the stake! There will be cries about how this will affect the companies long term prospects and their place in the market!

I saw that coming Tongue Out

Sorry I couldn't resist, this mornings tantrums over the delay on a phone beggared belief :)

And if 2 days later, its still unknown when they will deliver the phone to clients, we still wait and kiss telecom ay. You must love them so much...

Nobody is kissing Telecom though you do seem to have a weird fascination with that.

Some of us just understand that as much as a company wants to release a products issues come up beyond their control and it doesn't happen when they want it to.

Sometimes sith happens.

There was a red version meant to be released in HK but according to HTC they can no longer give any information on it.

Someone over at Xda really wanted one and tried tracking them down.

Seems like you and ur kissing buddy like to protect Telecom so much so that if they're 2 mths late, its all fine. At least they should give a time frame to the Customers who have pre-ordered out there.  People who might have sold there phone expecting to get a new one, or people who want to see their new phone.
Zhit doesn't happen often if things are managed properly, where a sin this case it wasn't.

They have given a timeframe, they said the 9th. Learn to read.

You have a lot of anger over a 2 day delay.

Calm down people. We're all very frustrated with the wait. At least this delay isn't going to be for too long.

Let's keep the kissing talk about of this forum. Rather, salivate over the fact that we're soon all going to have our hands on one shortly.

If you can't resist, head over to a Vodafone store to give it a feel - or just purchase it from there since it's identical, bar the price.

Go out for a walk to cool off... it's a good clear night in most parts of the country anyway.
