I chose Royal Mail Airsure as I heard it's the safest option not to get pinged by the Custom. It says target delivery is 3-7 working days.
Yes I got an email from them with the tracking number which I can use on Royal Mail's website to track it. It hasn't got any updates since 1st Oct.



When I use the same tracking code on nzpost website I got this which means it hasn't arrived in NZ yet? Or does the tracking number change once it's in NZ?

Most likely it's being held by customs. If you didn't have a contact number on your invoice maybe they have posted a letter to your address saying the postage is held until the customs duty is paid.

Just a thought, that happened to me a few years ago.

Yeah if they have your number they should have called by now.

It's tricky, if you call they will say there is gst owning, or if you call it might not be held by customs and they then say that gst needs to be charged...

I actually called the Customs 0800 number just now. It says "if you are enquiry about parcel or mail and don't have the Customs notice number, press 3 to transfer to NZ post".
