What's the signal reception/coverage been like, compared to other phones you've used? Also, I'm curious how it does on Thorndon Quay, near Glengarry - my current phone (on Spark) always drops data around that area.
Any news from HTC on NZ release date, retailer and price? Especially for the Carbon 64GB handset! :-)
Just tried a few music clips on YouTube and have to say the HTC 10 was actually a bit better than the HTC M9.
Mobile data on Thorndon Quay is good, but I use Vodafone.

Seen it in PBTech over the weekend, but it's battery was flat so couldn't have a play.
Have had the phone for a couple of weeks now... bought through Vodafone in Melbourne. It's a wonderful machine. GF and I are constantly arguing over whether her SG7 is better or not... I think cognitive bias will mean that debate is never truly solved... Her phone definitely opens up individual apps faster, but mine bounces between them and around the os in general noticeably faster.
The screen is lush (especially for LCD!), the camera great, I only charge it once every day and a half with about 4 hours screen time, but it's with headphones that it seriously blows me away every time. I'm going through all my old music just to check out how much better it sounds.
+1 for definitely get a case... my carbon black shell is great in the hand but the screen is slippery as hell. I have a spigen gunmetal case.
also because someone asked... reception seems ok so far... I have dropouts in the same locations as the iPhone I've been using as a temp for the last couple of months. I imagine it's probably not as good as a plastic phone, but isn't noticeably bad for me.

Any chance of getting some camera samples side by side with your 10 and better halfs S7?

The "real" HTC 10 review!
I was interested in the H9, but the camera was rubbish. Interested in this phone, with its improved camera, but sounds like I might have to give up some of the features that i like from a Samsung phone if I went the way of the HTC.
I must say too, that this review is brilliant. Like his style. Even if you're not interested in this phone, watch the review, the guy tells it like it is.
I've had the 10 now for about a week.
If you are an HTC fan, you will love this phone, its everything the 9 should have been.
Its fast, the camera is a great step up, HTC sense is just there but not bloatware, fast charge is awesome. Fingerprint scanner is almost instant. Speakers are great too.
I was at the point of wondering about something else as the 9 was such a let down (even went back to the M8 for a bit)
but this has steadied me back with HTC for a while longer.
If you are HTC and are looking for a reason to stay this is it.
If you are in an open frame of mind / in the market then this is a solid offering, and there are a tonne of reviews out there, but do try to get hold of a 10 and feel it.
Cheers
RB
After reading this it makes me think HTC made some seriously stupid software decisions
http://www.xda-developers.com/the-htc-10-how-the-developer-community-changed-my-experience/
Didn't sound that serious to me (other than battery, of which there are other opinions)
And the poster was able to source other software to solve the things he didn't like.
If HTC had blocked / prevented installing alternative software than it would be an issue, but they hadn't..
Meh...

So you have to install and search other software to make a phone usable in a basic manner.
If so, fair enough.
Have you come across other reviews commenting on this problem ?
I must admit I haven't in the reviews I've come across.
