Spark deal is up.

Free 256 SD card plus 50% more data for 6 months

A bit disappointed, so far the PBtech deal is the better one.

Noels deal is free sd card only

Don't sleep on that PB Tech deal. Only a limited number of VR headsets available. And their offer has been live since midnight.

FYI, use their bank transfer option at checkout instead of CC. Save about $40.

Noel is offering free VR with S7's....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Just did the pre-order with spark (did interest free payments option).

I would not use the VR anyway.

But still if you want value then PBtech is the one to go with.

Side note: Noels has the new wireless charger for about $130.  Pre order as well

256GB SD card undecidedundecidedundecidedundecided

Way to go Samsung NZ, everyone else gets GearVR...

Does anyone honestly want a 256gb SD card over GearVR + a controller, or even a watch?

The whole world is moving to cloud storage and increasing data caps to promote streaming, but here, have a 256gb SD card you won't use.

I would have pre-ordered if the bonus was GearVR or one of the watches, or even a discount on one of the watches, but now I think I'll just live with my 6Ps 2.5 hour screen on time until the next Pixel

The fingerprint reader is in a dumb position anyways wink

Out of touch as always, NZ Telcos.

Edit: Quit your whining meeekael, PBTech offering S8+ with GearVR+Controller for $1500.  I get a discount at Noel, wonder if I can convince them to do the same...

I would rather have the SD card than the VR stuff.

But saying that I would rather have the new wireless charger and case over the SD card

Me! I'd take a SD card over VR etc

I use cloud storage, but local device storage is a must for me for downloaded music, podcasts and video (offline Youtube). VR doesn't appeal is the slightest and will end up as additional junk lying around the house to be disposed of.

Hmm to pull the trigger with the PBTech deal or not. Have always been left disappointed with the software updates (lack of) with Samsung. The extras don't appeal to me but selling those would get me some money back I suppose. Hmm...

Haha I love me some Junk!  Something new to play around with would be fun.

I stream and cloud store absolutely everything and have been without an SD card since buying my 6P in 2015.  Guess I'm just used to it now !

Asking PBTech if they can throw in a Gear Fit 2 instead of the SDCard/VR seeing I'll actually use that to replace my current GPS running watch.

Or wait for the 2017 Sony or Pixel with minimized bezels (they will have no choice, LG and Samsung have set the new standard).

Won't bother with the pre-order. If they were offering the Gear Watch 3 I would have been all over it. BUt seems those are saved for the idiots up north.

Up North?

The black is "out of stock" on the PBTech pre-order sale for both versions now.

I could be wrong here, but I think it was a Hauwei phone released in the past 1.5 or so that was offering a free watch with Pre-Order? (Think the deal was from NL??)

Every man + his dog bought it thinking the same thing, price dropped quite a bit on TM. Supply + Demand and all that.
