Thinking I'll take advantage of Sparks trade up for this.

Samsung has had a lot of trouble with fire and the bad luck has continued after a blaze at a store in Singapore ahead of the launch of its flagship Galaxy S8.
After the South Korean company had to issue a global recall of the fire-prone Galaxy Note 7, it has had to deal with a small stockroom blaze, of which the cause is unknown.
“We are currently assessing the property damage and working closely with authorities to determine the cause of the fire,” a spokesperson for Samsung told Mashable.
“The store will remain temporarily closed during this period. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused.”
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, according to The Straits Times.
I have a feeling i will be pre-ordering it from spark, hoping the page goes live tomorrow
Aside from a slight aesthetic change and a bump in screen size there doesn't appear much of a change overall. Camera seems largely the same, batteries are fairly average on both.
Not sure I'll jump on this, would rather look at the Note 7 if the refurb launch is true.
None of the leaks make me feel like I need to upgrade my S7E at this point. The only benefit is that aesthetically the device looks like a winner. If that makes me shell out $1300+ for one, then i'll be a bit surprised. That being said i've been known to disregard this for other devices in the past, so who knows.
The only thing putting me off about this phone is that fact that we get the 4GB Ram while Korea and China get the 6GB RAM. I know this isn't a big deal to some but most phones this year are coming out with 6GB Ram. I wonder if it's possible to order a 6GB one from overseas somehow?

Plus speed bump.
Same size battery with much bigger screen does make me wonder.
i would definitely wait for pixel 2 rather than risking my life buying s8

MrAmerica: If you are planning on rooting this phone look elsewhere. Knox is so locked down on the S8 any attempted root will brick the phone.
Source?
To upgrade from iPhone or not...Here we go.

Yeah I'm not sure where you are getting that, I've seen nothing.
I can't image imagine it will be any different to the S5/S6/S7 where flashing an unsigned bootloader trips a fuse. Phone still works but you will lose access to the Knox features.
Spark site is updated. Pre-orders for nz start april 20th :(
