Black, fingerprint magnet, but then I just wash it! lol.

Reception is fine. maybe wifi not as strong, but works around my place ok.

edit: mine came with the crappiest ear buds ever, but because it's made for optus (I live in oz now) it came with the magnetic dock, which is awesome!

Oh your lucky, I would have preferred the dock rather than the earbuds

I ordered a dock from clove though, I had one for the xperia z, charges faster and don't have to open the flap

Yeah, the earbuds suck! they're still in the box!

Not opening the flap is awesome!

Clove now offer the free smartwatch deal with the z1.  If you have already ordered one you might want to e-mail them to check you are getting the watch as well.

I was gutted I didn't have enough money for the warehouse deal on friday.  Hopefully they rerun it.

I was hoping that Telecom would offer something free with it.  When they released the Z they bundled it with a bluetooth speaker.

$999 isn't a bad upfront price though particularly as they offer 24 months interest free on your telecom account.  You would have to be insane to order it on $140 contract.  $999/24  = $41 per month plus whatever data you need.  A much better deal buying outright.

Clove have offered the smartwatch 2 since preorders began, they have begun shipping them as well, unfortunately we won't know when they arrive until we get them as I saw on their blog once the last of the freebies have been sent, they will email to say they have been sent. So I'm guessing mine is on the way somewhere.

What was 999/24 supposed to mean? 140 * 24 is what I would be calculating over two years compared to buying outright and a separate plan. I hate buying phones on contract anyway, I love the open monthly contract with Telecom.

NZ $999 with free smartwatch 2. I think the phone is a black only though.

Received my phone and watch this morning. I love the phone.

It would be better if Sony put the "back, home and menu" buttons at the bottom of the screen rather than on the screen. They seems to waste some screen spaces.

How do you find the watch? Post some pics here?

My power button is a bit stuffed, its almost flush to the bezel and you have to push down crazy hard with the edge of your finger, i figured it was the design checked the display model and that was way easier, guy at telecom tested it, is gonna switch it out when they get more stock.
