Mine is currently out with the courier for delivery, which won't be till about 3pm. Going to be the longest 4 hours ever.

Got mine, in the process of transferring everything from my S8.

Will take some getting used to the bigger size, but loving it so far.

I noticed it is still on the pre-release software and hasn't gotten the update the rest of the world is getting. Hoping the newer unified software means we get updates here faster. I've been used to running XEU on my S7 then S8.

Not a fan of carrier customisations, but will say the Spark boot animation is nowhere near as obnoxious as on previous models - white logo on black background. A lot more subtle than the blinding mess it used to be.

What case (Slim and no bulk) options would everyone recommend.

I have been inclined to Spigen Galaxy S9+ Thin Fit Case Black from PBTech.

Update for Noel's. It seems they won't be honouring their "early release" as they don't have stock. Got told today if I don't like it they can refund but I have to send back the echo and it will be "a few days before you get a refund"
Less than happy with this reply as I checked twice last week that it will be sent on Monday and was also told they had stock on Monday.

@maxeon That is what I got, is a good fit and grippy. I got that to hold me over till my Spigen Neo Hybrid arrives from Amazon ($20 cheaper than PB Tech and Blue).

Looking more, I am thinking of Samsung Hyperknit and Alcantara cases are different but slim. The hyperknit case is sold in NL and JB.

I had the alcantara one for the S8, it was nice.

I also just found the phone came with a slim clear tpu case in the box. It was hidden in the with quick start guide.
