Has anyone had any issues with VoLTE call quality?
Have had some bad calls in the past few days in CHC on Vodafone, so have turned it off in the meantime

Same here on my P30 (non-pro, on Vodafone) - updated overnight on Saturday to the same version/security update level.

Yeah had this a few days ago.

For those who don't know the update adds VoLTE as well as some outdated security updates, at least if your phone was first registered on 2 degrees. Not sure regarding VF and Spark.

My P30 Pro doesn't like its battery any more and is limited to a 60% charge. It seems quite hard to find a company to replace the battery. Has anyone had any success finding a shop to replace the battery? preferably in Auckland. thanks.

I haven't seen an update in months for my device even though others have received something.

It's probably still some way off because it gets released to carriers who tend to take a long time testing sweet FA before dropping the update OTA.

EMUI 12 dropped today on my P30 on Vodafone.
Can't tell the difference apart from the Notifications pull down menu, top left. Good to have some security updates though.

Same here got offered EMU12 at midday Sunday. I think 2degrees or maybe Vodafone. (I'm currently with Kogan so Vodafone but I bought my phone from and more importantly first used it with 2degrees. So it used to have the 2degrees subversion. At some stage this disappeared but I've always assumed I'm still receiving updates from 2degrees.)

The new notification and settings split with notifications on the left and settings on the right is interesting. Also the large folder feature for apps. (Yeah I know other launchers and gadgets have had the same thing for a long time.) I also see  some UI tweaks and font differences. E.g. at least with my launcher settings, app folders now have a dark grey background rather than a whitish one. Current screen in a folder or the main launcher is long darker bar rather than just a darker dot. And yeah good to have security update.

Pity that the US trade ban means we're permanently stuck on some Android 10 hybrid. Android version seems to have disappeared from the OS info in settings but Play Store apps report it's still API v29. As with one of the earlier posts, there were some claims it would be Android 11 but this seems to have been confusion not helped by Huawei not saying anything. The Nova 9 had EMUI 12 based on Android 11, but the Nova 8 was based on Android 10 (see this on Huawei Central). And once it rolled out for P30 people found it was Android 10 as well (see e.g. this discussion on Reddit). Not surprising really, remember we were on Android 10 with EMUI 11 while others were Android 11 with EMUI 11.

My P30 was not getting any updates - but had no SIM card. I've inserted a Vodafone SIM and received a July 2021 update, followed by a September 2021 update, followed by EMUI 12 and a patch. It's all up to date now.
