I was also getting bootloops With P3D using Faux kernel. I tried setting a slower clockspeed but I still kept getting the bootloops. I reverted back to stock kernel and it seemed to fix the problem. I have since gone back to P3D 6.1 and I no longer gett stuck in bootloops but my phone seems to really lag at times.

blakamin: Overclocked by much?

I think the Faux kernel used in P3D rom is overclocked to 1.51 or somewhere there abouts.

He has released a new version which hopefully fixes the reboot problem some of us are getting. I will try it out and report back hopefully tomorrow with an all clear otherwise if I get any reboots I will let you know.

From XDA:

Pyramid3D v7.5.0 - Full ROM

Full wipe needed for new XE base
  • New HTC Sensation XE base off official full RUU 1.72.401.1
  • Updated kernel to Faux123's 0.1.7 @ Max 1.56ghz - 1.51ghz stock
    Kernel Fixes:
Added 1.674 GHz option (L2 Freq up to 1.566 GHz)
Applied many FrameBuffer patches from CAF
Applied couple more KGSL patches from CAF
Revenge of CFS, CFS Enhancement  (Interactive latency greatly reduced, make it BFS like)
  • Fixed battery charging icon
  • All other addons from previous base
  • Had to remove modded camera for now (causing issues)
  • Changed overglow to white on non themed (looks cleaner)
Kernel should have fixed rebooting issues.

Ouch...
Is anybody with the boot loop issue using a case? could be contributing to the overheating issue?
I am still using the Faux 0.1.4 kernal but i have lowered the clock speed to 1.18 and i haven't had a bootloop in the last 2 days.

Also on my phone in the centre aluminium bit on the back i am starting to get little white dots where it seems like the power coating is coming off. anybody else experiencing this problem?

I am not using a case...seems a shame to hide the phone. Also I just checked my cover and have no white spots or any other flaws where powder coating is coming off. Might be time to polish your cover like this one

Im running 7.3 P3D and haven't had any issues, seems alot of people are getting bootloops. I don't know why it would be happening because of the cpu running at 1.5ghz since that is the stock speed, they lowered it for the orginal sensation, seems they had the XE around the same time.

I'm using this case. It may well be a factor. I'll bear that in mind. I've tried Faux's 1.5, 1.7 (as they were, no changes) and now I'm running stock, as I still am getting boot loops using 1.7. However. I only flashed 1.7 straight over 1.5, as suggested by CtD in the XDA P3D thread. If Stock doesn't result in bootloops, I'll flash 1.7 and see if they reoccur.

This is my Case. It's really good. I don't like using the phone on it's own as it keeps slipping out of my grip.

There is a new P3D ROM which uses the latest bricked kernel. I will try it out and see how it goes. I didn't try 7.5 because I read that this one was coming out.

I am using Leedroid 3.1.0 with 3.3.0 Kernel; had one bootloop 2am on the 22nd of September but no more after that which is awesome.

Well, well. I'm running Stock and got a reboot. But, instead of going into a loop, the phone just rebooted similar to Fastboot (which is set to off). I also got an extra 4% added to my battery life. Woot. LOL.

At the time I was just opening an App called "On Call End".

I'm now using the Bricked Kernel. So far, very good. It's really smooth and I've yet to experience a reboot with it. I've only been running it since last night though.

BTW. I highly recommend that App I mentioned above "On Call End"

I have moved over to the Bricked-Kernel v0.91 as well. The faux123 kernel v0.1.8 used in the Revolution ROM ran quite hot and gave me one bootloop last Friday.
