I like most of the changes although they are basically cosmetic. The one thing which is a big mistake IMHO is this Apple-style Control Panel. Now I have to decide which view I want as to which side to swipe down from, left or right.... Notifications or Control Panel. So the regular old way, if I want to change a toggle, ordinarily I would also get to see notifications. Likewise, if I wanted to see notifications, I could glimpse toggle switches. Swiping between the two exists but it's awkward. The music player seems limited to Huawei's own, which I will never use, so that area is possibly useless. Wifi & Bluetooth could be handy but for some but for me I don't change existing settings much so no advantage. As for Device+, if that's limited to Huawei devices as it seems then yep, another useless feature I will not have any use for.

This may be the last straw for me though. The first two straws being EMUI 11 not being Android 11, and EMUI 12, rumoured to include Android 11, still not giving us it. But I get it, if they aren't allowed to they aren't allowed. Shame because I do love this phone and it has served me well. Can't complain, i got it for a steal new with a bundle of stuff. So, not bitter about it. Perhaps just time to move on.

Hopefully it will turn up soon. I know that they seem to stagger the rollout even within one service provider.
