bradstewart: I had the alcantara one for the S8, it was nice.

I also just found the phone came with a slim clear tpu case in the box. It was hidden in the with quick start guide.

I ordered my phone on Monday on Samsung website and got it today. Will by the hyperknit case today as the alcantara cases are not in NZ yet. Will get that ordered from amazon. 

What do people think about screen protectors? They're pretty expensive at retail, eBay is much cheaper but not sure of the quality, especially with the curved screen and all

I don't use Screen protectors. Never have. I will use my contents insurance if things go bad. 

Anyone need Alcantara Black S9 plus cases? I am planning to order it from amazon today.

I spent $50 on a curved screen protector when I had an S8, lasted about an hour before I ripped it off due to loss of touch sensitivity. I'm yet to be convinced that any of the curved glass screen protectors are any good.

Yeah I might just head in tomorrow and ask if to pick it up. Pretty lame

I just picked mine up from Noel's after finding stock on their website.  Explained to the store manager the issue I am having with their online team and getting a phone I have paid for already.  Got a phone but not the wireless charger (as they only had the phone in stock) so called noels when i got home asking them to send one out.

Well, that makes it even more compelling reason to order it via Amazon.
