Am I blind, I can't find the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus listing on PBtech.

Go to the promotions area for the S24 series and scroll down.

Ah, thanks! I didn't scroll enough.

Not entirely flat, but pretty close.

Frustrating they still haven't addressed the sharp corners.

Anyone know what NITs brightness is set by default ? I am wondering if the extra brightness needs to be enabled and then your battery gets sucked dry in a few hours.

Just had a little play with them in JB Hifi, mainly having a look at the photo editing which I'm quite excited about (have people I now need to remove from wedding photos etc). The feature is really cool and so easy to move or delete people or objects. I couldn't tell if it was possible to insert people/objects into photos as well as move/remove but might be a step too far?

I had the idea that the Ultra was massive and too big for a pocket, but seeing them in person it's actually not as huge as I thought and not much different in size to the phone I'm currently using. Pretty good discount though the EPP. Still difficult to justify to the amount of money but food for thought.....

Cool. I'm not sure this year if I'm upgrading from an S23U but let's see what the reviewers say. I'm big on the camera tech but not much has changed. However always keen on better battery life (S23U is pretty good tbh) and smarter ways of doing things.

I'll need to check one out in the flesh this weekend.

Rmani:

S24 Ultra 512GB comes to $1345 in EPP program after trading in S22 Ultra 256GB, tempted to go for it. Waiting for approval from the boss of the house.

Out of interest, can anyone report the cost if purchased via EPP of the base-model S24 Ultra without trade in?

Thanks!

There is no base model on samsung store, you get a free upgrade to 512GB (256GB goes on sale later). Free silicone case and protector as well.

And that costs $2080 after discount.

on a personal note, i ordered 3 for myself and family members through Epp - or rather tried to order. Went tp payment screen, made the payment, and then instead of order confirmation page i got a failed error page. But money was taken from my account. So now im -$6000 and no order :D awesome.

Wow on the purchase amount!

Doh on the experience!

Hope it gets sorted out for you. Perhaps it went through? Check your order history.

Nah no sign of the order anywhere. They will probably eventually either refund or create the order for me, but just sucks as i dont have a preorder yet!

I was disappointed to see in NZ the max trade in value of $1505 was for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I understand Samsung want to poach the competition but it was deflating to see they valued their own flagship (S23U) less🤦‍♂️.

For someone that was looking to upgrade from S23, I'd imagine they'd sell it instead of trading it in. That's exactly what I'd do.
