That's not a common experience. In fact I think it's an extreme edge case. Based upon most of your posts about this phone so far, and said with respect, you seem to not know much about how to configure or use the phone. I suggest you spend time going through each of the settings and trying different combinations to get a balance that suits you. What is the performance profile currently set as, for instance?

Yeah I haven't used Samsung phones in a long while. Mainly Oppo the last couple years. Where their battery is so dam good it's just setup and leave it. No fuss, no muss

Well you don't have one now, you have a Samsung, so you better figure it out or this thread will just be you saying what doesn't work for you, over and over again.

Yes, thanks boss.

I'm not the only one struggling with poor battery life. Reddit is filled with posts of the same.

I was referring to the other settings and ways the device functions, that came up through the thread.  I did say I think your music battery drain was an edge case, and I suspect that's true.  But I'm referring to the Oppo comparisons and the fact that you can probably find similar functions and features in the settings if you familiarise yourself with them.  That seems to have been the cse for the points you've raised so far, so it would make sense for your next steps to be to explore settings and configure things they way you like them, or disable things you don't like.

Since I have a “MagSafe” case on my phone I decided to get a MagSafe power bank to fit to the back of it. It having the dual purpose of augmenting my ZF7’s battery and allowing the phone to sit flat on the table (the wobble annoys me)

Unfortunately, when I fitted it, the positioning of the magnet meant that the power bank conflicted with the camera and so skewed off to the side. The other PBs I tried when I took it back were similar.

I even tried card holders that stick to the back (to resolve the wobble) but they have the same problem with the camera.

I’m wondering if anyone has a solution?

You might find what you need in a Pitaka case.  Their magnet layout is bespoke though, so probably not MagSafe compatible.  If you have other Pitaka chargers it might be a go.

Edit: this is also why it no longer has fast wireless charging, if I recall correctly the fast Qi standard requires a circular magnet (not specifically MagSafe) in the rear which don't fit in the new Fold7

I grabbed this for cheap last week and it arrived today - looks legit, but it's a great knock off if it's not!

Pretty good for $25 compared to what they sell for locally https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009494530855.html

If wanting Qi2 and/or MagSafe, the ThinBorne case looks like a good, minimalist option
