Is it normal for the top speaker (ie the metal long thin speaker grill) to be raised compared to the glass, with a small amount of flex around the speaker, it seemed a little odd that it wasn't nice and flush and that there was some give in the glass around it.
kiwijunglist: I got a telecom one from Warehouse, they price matched their online one day deal of $750.

jeffnz: Boring Friday night so flashed CM 4.4 Kitkat. There are about 3 4.4 Roms available so may try another one this weekend but initial reaction is that its very fast but then again there isn't much bloat.
Looking forward to the Google Edition roms to appear.

kiwijunglist: Do the Google edition roms support ota updates? I have a telecom i9505 and was thinking of switching, but only if I have to flash once, I can't be bothered having to flash for any future updates.

Interested in this too. I'm not really bothered about 4.3, but 4.4 looks like it could have a significant performance impact when the old Dalvik VM is switched to the new option. I would rather stay on 4.2 rooted than go to 4.3/4.4 non-rooted though, I rely on root for a few useful things.
