Interested in this too. I'm not really bothered about 4.3, but 4.4 looks like it could have a significant performance impact when the old Dalvik VM is switched to the new option. I would rather stay on 4.2 rooted than go to 4.3/4.4 non-rooted though, I rely on root for a few useful things.

With the pre-rooted stock roms? It says they are knox free? Does that mean I can flash on my current non-knox phone through CWM without adding knox?

I've never used pre rooted but as knox is in bootloader I would guess if they have taken that out you will be fine.

Yup, if you grab one off DjeMBeY's Pre rooted stock ROM thread on xda (i9505 android development area) you should be fine. It's likely you will need to flash the corresponding modem otherwise you're likely to get data connection issues (from what I've read on xda). Fortunately DjeMBeY also has a modem thread, for this head to the i9505 general section.

If anyone tries that I'd like to hear how it goes. 4.2 works fine, I'm not keen to mess with it.

I'm on CM 11 Kitkat and it seems very good quite fast and a couple of new features like the new email app which is same as gmail . The trade of when going to known Samsung roms is you lose the little extra's that maybe gimmicky but are quite handy sometimes like the gesture etc, also like the samsung keyboard.

Kitkat has some issues as its only in beta at moment , had some issues with apps to ext SD but fixed, some apps don't work like titanium backup and whatsapp. Battery life isn't that great at moment but I have 2 batteries so not an issue for me.

Best advice is to wait until Samsung releases 4.4 then the good Roms will emerge and be a lot more polished than the ported ones.

Can I use my telecom branded galaxy s4 on 2 degrees network. As a snapper card for the buses etc?

2degrees S4's dont even work with the Touch2Pay at the moment, you can use your s4 on 2degrees though

Can anyone recommend a keyboard for the S4? I use it at work for personal email, I probably don't want full size but even swype is too slow. Bluetooth I guess, or a dock.

Samsung makes a bluetooth keyboard http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/BKB-10USWEGXAR

Logitech makes one. Google seems to suggest quite a few are available.

Thanks I'll check them out. I've had a google, just looking for personal recommendations for small physical keyboards. I already use Swype things Yabinize :)

I'm guessing I could get the battery better but betterbatterystats doesn't work yet, nor have I tried a different kernel.

VM is working on some Roms but seems to be causing issues so I've left it on delvik

Hi guys,

Is anyone here running Omega V15? I flashed it on my S4 (coming from stock, full wipe). I previously used the wanam xposed module to enable the call icon in the call log (so you can just call someone straight from the call log/favourites), however this is not working on omega.

From what I can see, Omega has it's own "phone mods" menu that is supposed to under phone>menu>call settings>custom settings
However I am missing the "custom settings" option so I can't access any of those mods. (I'm guessing the implementation of this menu is why wanam xposed isn't changing those settings)

Does anyone here have any idea where I'm going wrong?

I recently broke my s4 digitizer and i'll tell you what, I didn't realize how much I relied on it. Such an amazing piece of technology.
