I secured the Note 5 32 GB in gold today for $1099. I've asked the company if they will honour that for other GZ'rs and am waiting a response.

Arrives tomorrow.

Nice one. I paid the usual price. Broke my last contract for $60. Ran out in March next year. On a $10 a month cheaper plan and data now 2.5gb instead of 1.5. Bonus is in my view I get the Spotify Premium chucked in. That was in my last plan too.
I was seriously thinking of switching to 2 degree with there roll over data. The spotify premium was a sweatener so I decided to stay with Spark.
So far love the Note 5. Battery seems to be lasting well. Plus Im now on one of their open plans so no contract.
The other thing is Ive had reports of 2 degrees been poor in the coverage department. ??

That used to be the case, but should now. So long as you have data roaming on so can you bounce off Vodafone sites.

Hmm so unfortunatly he isn't willing to do the price for anyone else! Bit of a shame. I get the impression he honoured the price he agreed to but possible made nothing on it.

A little birdy tells me that you might want to keep an eye out for boxing day sales if you're in the market for a Note 5. *taps nose and/or email signature*

How great is this phone. The s-pen functions are bloody great. Installed venom rom and she absolutely flies. Only problem is the 30% battery drain over night

Fantastic phone really happy. Might wait a bit before rooting and custom rom. Also can recommend the spignen slim case.

Battery is doing good, made a few tweaks turning off things I don't use etc. Sitting at 74% after 15 hours with about 1 and half hours screen time.

So I have my new note, I am really liking it, maybe the most of any recent phone in the past few years. The size isn't concerning me EXCEPT for one thing which is really annoying me.

The left button which lists the apps, I hit it all the time when I am gaming because I "lean" on the button as I stretch my right hand over to press buttons.

Is there a way to :

1) disable this button or change it's purpose?
2) Disable it whilst in specific apps?

Yes thats the one change that I have noticed too. I still have the Old Note 3 so will compare in more detail and try a work around
