Personal preference, there are many different types of people out there!

besides, I personally think the IPX interface is a compromised mess, they should've just done it like Android ;)

I guess it comes down to personal preference in the ecosystem.

Whilst the pixel 2 does have it's drawback especially from a hardware design, I personally like the software experience that google provides on their phones and no doubt the camera adds an extra sweetener.

Personally, I'm not a fan of bringing a dedicated camera when travelling, so the camera alone is enough for me. As well preferring Android on phones, unlimited uncompressed photo/video backup for 3 years, and the X's $1800 price.

I'm waiting for the Pixel 2 to drop below $1300 at local retailer for warranty/CGA

They have the Pixel 2 64GB in stock, Black is NZ$1,163.68 and White is NZ$1,104.01

Both prices are suspiciously low, at best I was hoping for NZ$1,200, maybe they don't include GST?

Simitronics claim their returns and processes refunds are in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Law

Have they given you an updated estimated delivery date?

I'm leaving the country at the end of next week, so I'm worried it might not arrive on time since they say its about 1-2 business days for shipping and 3-5 business days for shipping to Auckland.

Delivery for mine is scheduled for tomorrow. It's in auckland atm, presumably at a sorting depot. So far I've tracked it about 15 times today hoping for a change in status... lol
