Haven't heard anything from PB Tech but I don't really care when I get it (within reason). Doesn't surprise me considering its PB Tech lol.

Anyone able to post what they like/don't like about the S9+? Realise there are a bunch of reviews out there but good to hear how it performs from those lucky enough to have one :-)

Just a few observations so far.

It's fast. Much faster and smoother than the S8 was, even after the Oreo update massively improved things for that.

Definitely glad I moved to the larger model as well, took a little getting used to the size but this is good.

Screen seems to be a better too, my S8 had a definite blue tinge that no amount of adjustment could quite get rid of.

Fingerprint and Iris scan much quicker.

Battery life is much improved. Got home from work with 70% battery left after the normal usage, S8 would be sitting around 40-50% by 5.30pm (yes the battery is marginally bigger but so is the screen and by all accounts the S8 had better life than the S8+).

Also just manually updated to the ARC5 firmware (I cannot handle not being on the latest firmware - I may need to seek help about this). Will see if any further improvements come from that.

Edit: Also I keep trying to fingerprint unlock with the heartrate sensor. Jury is out about the new sensor placement. I quite liked where it was on the S8, perfect position for my finger.

Nice and thin with lots of grip. Anything else that was that grippy was a big thick armored case.

What amount of screen on time would that be?

So far i am liking it, do miss a few things from the oneplus however (like how much battery is left in bluetooth headphones icon you get with the oneplus).

Also notice that battery life is no where as good as the oneplus and the quick charge is slower.

Just waiting for the new firmware update for NZ to hit now that its been released.

Got mine this morning :)

It had a 2degrees 'freebie' code on the back, but stupidly the website they have on the sticker doesn't work.  The freebie was double top ups for 3 months so can't complain

I've found battery life on the S9+ to be excellent. By the time I went to bed last night I was still over 50% battery with almost 4 hours screen on time. My S8 would be down around 20%

The real question will be how long does it last doing important (definition of "important" may vary) things like PokemonGo.  :-)

Mine is apparently with the courier for delivery.  So I guess that'll mean picking it up from the post shop tonight.
