Has anyone actually received a email telling them that their phone has been sent? How long after you intially ordered it was that? I ordered mine last night, received the confirmation email, and awaiting the shipping notice. How long should I have to anxiously wait until I receive the next email? Can't wait!
Ordered an 8gb model last Wednesday when wait times were 6-7 weeks. Means delivery to my US postal address will be anytime time between the 9th and 16th Jan. Theoretically if postal/wait times are what they say they will be then I'm looking at late Jan or early Feb before I see the phone (taking in to consideration youshop postal as well).
Hoping that the expected wait times reduce a little, but remembering that we will have Christmas in between as well, I think it's likely the majority of us will be waiting till 2013 before we get our phones.
I'm in no real hurry for the phone, but that doesn't hide the fact that I want it NOW!
Good luck to everyone else and it will be interesting to hear when other buyers start to receive their emails confirming delivery.
I bought a 16gb on the 27th. The first one I had in my cart was a 1 to 2 week delivery time. However, that one mysteriously disappeared from my cart.
The second one I managed to snare in the cart had a 2 to 3 week delivery time. So hope it will be a xmas pressie...but not holding out too much hope really.
It's just sitting in my Google wallet and have confirmation email but that's all I've heard so far.
If only if only....I had one in my cart at 6am on the 13th but my credit card wasn't in order at that stage

What the heck man! How come its only taking you like 6 days!!! So are you telling me that you get the receipt email, then another email to say that they have received it and another one that the order has shipped and then the last one being that they have charged you. I ordered on the 2 December here, (1st over there) so its really only been 2 days. Dammit
Just curious , how are you guys getting it sent to new zealand ?
I assume you are using a VPN proxy to acces the play store, but terms of getting it sent to new zealand, do you have family or using some sort of service .

Yes to VPN. I am using tunnelbear which is awesome. Then I am using NZPOSTS new service Youshop.co.nz

Yea there is the Youshop warehouse you can send your items to and they'll send it to New Zealand. But I was going to use shipito this time round, just more freedom of choice with shipping options. You can register free with youshop, or you have to pay $8.50 US + Shipping to use shipitos. I think it works out roughly the same, but not entirely sure

I ordered a 16GB version last week from valuebasket.co.nz for $729 inc (never heard of them before but they have a shiny website, hopefully they will still be around if I need to do a warranty claim). They say it should ship by Friday so I should have it by end of next week, we will see.
I have some 8GB versions preordered via mobicity for work. Last week they said the ETA was 2 weeks but its not confirmed. Price for a single device (8GB) is $669 (inc GST and customs processing fee of $38.07 for the package).
joutei: would any of you guys mind telling how much the total cost for the nexus 4 from the play store cost, including shipping , tax etc .
