Here we are, less than a week out from the announcement of potentially the best specced phone of the year!

NZtechfreak and I are both sure to purchase, stay tuned . . .

Oh god yes I will be in ASAP on this. I am totally over my S4 OCta, the storage space is untenable for my use, keep having to shuffle app data and stuff to do app updates as my 8.9GB of free space is totally used up, equally as bad is the terrible WiFi performance, and while its battery life is commensurate with other flagships this year ~4 hours of screen-on time doesn't do it for me (spoilt by the Note 2 formerly).

So far all the rumours are shaping up nicely.

anyone car to hazard a guess on pricing?

We have just run a promo at work to give away a phone up to $1049 and wondering if I recommend someone waits for one of these?

That's one beast of a phone. Not sure there is enough in there to warranty me dropping the S4 though.

My guess would be $1,299 or $1,349

This is around the price of the note 1 when it launched and the note 2 launched at $1,099

I'm not upgrading from note 2. Not enough of a difference and I don't like the look of the leather.
