For anyone who has the Google Opinion Rewards app for Android in NZ, keen to know what kind of things generate surveys for you?

I've only had surveys so far when I go near Bed, Bath and Beyond in St Lukes (Auckland).

Is there anything else in NZ that typically give you surveys?

Countdown, The Warehouse, David Jones, Mexico restaurant, Mitre 10, McDonalds, Youtube video suggestion surveys.

So many more that I cannot remember. Is your GPS on all the time?

I was getting surveys every day for quite some time, regardless where I was or had been. Now, I'm lucky to get one a month and I'm moving around lot more.......

Every time I complete a survey I receive a message saying there's a error and I'll be paid later yet it never arrived and the survey doesn't show up in the history.

Started Nov 2017 - 127 Surveys, $41 NZD earned. I've had nothing since Feb 2019.

I mainly get suveys after being near The Warehouse or Mitre 10. Also after watching YouTube videos.

It seems to go through fits and starts, sometimes giving me 3 or 4 in a week and other times nothing for a couple of months.

I too occasionally get the error after a survey, maybe 20% of the time, but I admit I've never actually checked to see if they eventually go through.

I've currently got a balance of $23.62, total earned is $69.24 from 232 surveys. Lowest I've earned was $0.14 and highest $0.71 (excluding the $1.00 first survey which I think everyone gets?).

Started late November '17, 156 surveys with $51.79. Used to get error at times, but it gets credited later. As others have said, i get when i visit Warehouse, sometimes Countdown as well.

Mostly when I go to Countdown (which is next to The Warehouse), or to Mitre 10. Also some other shops when I walk past.

Sometimes it asks if I want to share the receipt - usually I don't but one day I saved it - got paid the same for receipt, so won't bother.

Got enough for a few movie rentals over the months.

Thanks heaps for all the great responses. Had no idea so many NZ retailers use opinion surveys!

I ended up checking Google Map Timelines and worked out that Google wasn't picking up where I had been properly. Changed some settings and will try and remember to open Google Maps when I'm near any of places people have mentioned and see how I go!

I'm much the same as the retailers advised already. I find I get quite a few if I've been near New World as well.
I've had 175 surveys since Nov 17 and had $54.87 rewards.

Between 5-30 seconds I'd say.

I'm sitting on about $89 from 290 surveys since November 2017.

I was getting them daily until I went to Europe on holiday. When I did the same in 2018 they started up as soon as I was back in the country - this year that has not been the case
