Hi all,

Anyone else using Skyfire beta 2.1?

Works very well :) can check grabaseat and other flash sites and it doesn't slow down much at all on my i5700 Galaxy Spica(soon to be Galaxy S i9000, few days away)

Seems to work well on:
- Grabaseat
- Metacafe
- Youtube

Might be a good filler till 2.2 with native flash is supported :)

What about this "Skyfire no longer available in your contry"? (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=6&topicid=63453)

Intreresting.

I saw your post and went to the Android Market and downloaded Skyfire v2.1 beta.

But I'm not on a stock Android load. I'm running the FRF50 pre-release of Android v2.2 and the particular image I have installed is a rooted version of the stock Android v2.2 FRF50, created by Paul O'Brien at modaco.com. One of the benefits of rooted ROMs is 100% Market access, so if there are any country restrictions, I'm usually oblivious to them.

I went to their web site and there is no mention of any country restrictions. I sent their PR contact a message asking for clarification / confirmation as to whether it is true and who might be affected.
