I've just upated the software version on my LG P500 from V10a to V10b. The upgrade worked ok, but I have been unable to get my paradise account successfully reset up on the phone since the upgrade (it was working well before the upgrade).

After I upgraded, I went into 'settings' 'applications' 'Manage applications' 'all' 'email' and cleared the data so I would be able to re-set up my accounts.

Hotmail set up ok, but I am having difficulty with Paradise.

For Paradise, I am set up the incoming pop3 server as 'pop.paradise.net.nz'  - the phone successfully checks incoming server, then asks for outgoing SMTP server, which I input as 'smtp.paradise.net.nz'. When it checks outgoing server settings, it states "Set Up could not finish - unable to open connection to server".

ps. other settings on the outgoing server screen are Port = 25 (selected automatically by phone) and security type = none (also self selected by phone.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
