I have an iphone 16pro and the latest iOS version brought the new feature of screening unknown numbers, where it asks the caller why they are calling. However I hadn't been getting any calls for a while to the number. Someone then said they had tried calling me and it just rang a few times and hung up. I tested calling it and it didn't ring at all or show the incoming call at all. I had it set to 'Ask reason for calling' but have now disabled it and it now seem to be working again.  I know it worked intially, but it seems to have stopped, possibily after an ios update. Anyone else had issues with this new feature?

Yep.

We've had issues at work due to that. We've asked our staff to keep it off.

Hmmm might explain why my wife is so annoyed I keep missing her calls. The phone doesn't ring, it just pops up with "missed call" afterwards.
