I got a news notification for this today. I had heard about it previously as I have a qualifying iPhone with Apple Intelligence but didn’t think it applied outside the US, but this is an Australian PCMag article. Anyone submitted a claim?

It's states in the article that it is for phones purchased in the US

The settlement applies to those who purchased an iPhone in the US after Apple first advertised the Siri AI features after WWDC 2024, from June 10, 2024, through March 29, 2025.

The settlement website blocks users outside of the US. It also states

The Settlement will provide a cash payment if you purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, or iPhone 16 Pro Max that you purchased between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 in the United States.

The settlement page though allows you to select your country. But it seems strange that an Australian website would be notifying people about it if it doesn’t apply to their readers.

That’s strange because I can access the settlement website and aren’t blocked, and it allows me to select NZ. It also asks me for my PayPal details for payment. So I do wonder why it allows people to select country etc if restricted to just US buyers
