You suggested I wanted to watch everything on Sky for $8. That was making something up.
A data stream can contain whatever content is put into it. If you watch Sky on satellite, you are presented with a number of channels that you can switch between, according to the subscription you have paid. My thought was to transfer that approach directly to streaming, with a separate stream for each channel. I don't know if that is technically sensible, though I don't see why not. The point of doing it this way would be that access to each channel could be easily controlled, enabling viewers to pay for the ones they want and to be excluded from the ones they haven't paid for. If it is not feasible or there are better ways of doing this, I am fine with that. It is just an idea based on the Kodi add-on model.
