Sounds like Plex/Kodi are not releasing an exclusive hold on the audio.

Are you able to kill those apps to see if they release the audio then?

My old Pace box (above) was replaced with a small black Kaon box in the end, they didn't even offer the new white streaming box :-)

Nah force stop Kodi makes no difference, nor does just changing the input on the TV.

I've had this intermittantly - A reboot using the system menu resolves

Had an extremely odd (related) issue yesetrday - Was watching something on ThreeNow Streaming - had it paused - decided to watch something else prerecorded from sattelite - then whenever pausing or fast forwarding then hitting play on the prerecorded show - the audio for the ThreeNow show started coming through.  Resolved easily enough by going to the ThreeNow app, and stopping that show.  It was a little more odd in that when I did show - the ThreeNow app was showing timed out.

Seems like the White box has a challenge switching amongst various streming apps...i

I've noticed that if you change channels before you do the reboot from the system menu when you get back in (with sound working) it's always on the channel before you changed. So start on Three with no sound, switch to Duke, reboot, it's back on Three.

Howdy y’all

Anyone else getting annoyed by the slightly delayed audio on the Sky Sport 1 (4K) compared to the same feed on the Kia Arena channel #1.?

when you have such a contrast between the quiet court and a single hit of a serve, it’s pretty clear, only a few ms but it sticks out.

I don't notice anything on the Sky Pod, on the 4K or HD channels.

Well I arrived home from work yesterday afternoon, to my black box (Kaon) lit up like a xmas tree and it making a funny blinking noise. Pulled the plug for 2 mins plugged in same result. Hit AC button nothing. Called sky and a tech is coming out to look at it soon.

I guess its time for the new box, surely sky is set to announce the NRL in 4K soon?

The tech came today and would only replace my Kaon with a "like for like" even though I asked for a newer one.

Oh well, got a credit for the 5 days I was without sky and all working again now. Guess I'll ask the call centre to sort me a new box now

Welp.. Took the leap and ordered a new white box off the sky account website. Simple and easy, says self install so I don't foresee too much drama hopefully.

Looking forward to hopefully some NRL, Rugby and F1 in 4K finally!

I'm thinking of switching to the white box for some 4K sport. LMK how it performs for you

I got the Sky Pod during the Black Friday sale, its been ok but had the odd issue when streaming a program it would sometimes go back to the beginning of the program at a random point during playback.

I did change it from using WiFi to Ethernet via powerline and found it feels a little faster as well.

Its been 7 days, even after recieving an email saying the box was ordered. Live chatted sky today, no order in the system grumble placed an order with the CSR on live chat, should be here in 2-3 days.

Glad I didn't need it in a hurry.
